What do we believe?
The Salt Lake Christian Church is a diverse non-denominational church filled with members who are committed to a close relationship with God based firmly on the Bible.
Our mission on earth is to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20), be witnesses of Jesus’ resurrection (Acts 1:8), and to always remember the poor (Galatians. 2:10)

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)

We teach to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength and loving our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40)

Jesus is the Son of God, is the only way to the Father, and is the head of the church (Mark 1:1, John 14:6, Colossians 1:18)

We believe that Jesus, the Son of God, is our one and only Lord and Savior, that he was crucified as a sacrifice for our sins and rose from the dead after three days. (Acts 2:22-24)

We believe that people repent and are baptized, their sins are forgiven, they receive the Holy Spirt and are added to Jesus’ church by the grace of God through their faith in Jesus. (Acts 2:38, Rom 3:23-25)

Meet Our Leaders
Meet Our Leaders
Starting over 3 decades ago, Chris and Kim began their journey as church planters and ministers after realizing their life without God was no life at all. Soon after their beginnings of serving in different churches, they fell in love and in their marriage began ministering to new church plannings in both the US and abroad.
They believe that everyone deserves a chance to learn more about Christ and his sacrifice and have dedicated their lives to serving their community.
They have served in Boston, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Denver, and now in the amazing Salt Lake City. They have always worked with College and Youth ministries, while carrying on a vibrant marrieds’ ministry. In addition to earning bachelor’s degrees from Northeastern University, they have earned advanced certificates in Biblical Studies and completed certifications for Solutions Focus Practitioner and International Life Coach.
They love outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, biking, skiing, etc. – and they love the Salt Lake Christian Church family, and dogs!

Hope Worldwide
We partner with the international non-profit Hope Worldwide. Motivated by God’s love, we partner with our neighbors in need, equip volunteers, respond to disasters and strengthen communities to inspire greater hope in our world.
Your regular monthly support and participation of HOPE worldwide enables us to teach, heal and serve nearly 1 million people in over 120 U.S. cities and 60 countries around the world every year.

Project Honduras - 2025
Project Honduras is a group of people working on projects to support the people of Honduras. United by a sense of service to God, Project Honduras has been growing in size. Its participants consist primarily from the members of the Christian Church of Salt Lake, its sister church the International Church of Christ in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and friends and family.
Working together with prayer and in humble service, bringing diverse talents together, is a strength of Project Honduras.
